Who Am I?

I’m Sean, the face behind Rebuild Fitness. I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, completing my studies through the Australian Institute of Fitness, graduating as a Level 1 Master Trainer. I’m excited to be able to start my own coaching platform to use my knowledge and experience to help others reach their health and fitness goals.

I wouldn’t call myself the typical Personal Trainer. Whilst I have always been an active person, my journey within the fitness industry is quite different. 

I first stepped foot in a gym when I was 13, working with a PT to rehabilitate a previous injury. I didn’t love it. As a chubby 13 year old, a gym was overwhelming and filled me with anxiety. Fast forward 5 years and I was given a free gym membership through my football club. I used that gym once. That's right, once. Gyms scared me, I was weak, ‘skinny fat’ and afraid of embarrassing myself. 

This is where my motivation comes from. 

For the last 3 years I’ve made the gym my habit. It’s second nature to wake up earlier each day to get a session in. It was hard at first. Really hard. The anxiety, the embarrassment and the overwhelming feeling didn’t go away overnight. But like all things, the more you do it, the easier it gets.

This is where I want to help. I understand gyms are uncomfortable places, places you don’t want to be, places you feel like a lesser person than others. My aim is to make everyone comfortable within themselves, and the world around them. Whether it’s working out in a gym, at home, or in public, I want to help anyone and everyone become the person they want to be and to go above and beyond their fitness goals.

Rebuild Studio

Located in Coomera, Gold Coast

No gym membership? No worries!

I run personal training and small group sessions out of my home studio in Coomera.

There's not much worse than booking in a Personal Training session and having to dodge your way through a crowded gym, not being able to use the equipment you want. Here at the Rebuild studio, sessions can be completely PRIVATE! 

A judgment free zone where you can work out in comfort and privacy, giving you the best opportunity to get the most out of your sessions.

The studio contains all the equipment you may need for your sessions including:

Resistance bands, dumbbells ranging from 5kg to 40kg, battle ropes, cable machine, bench, barbell, smith machine and plenty more.

I offer a variety of coaching options suitable to your needs!

I pride myself on my flexible coaching options, including online coaching,

face to face coaching, and group fitness classes.
